Users are simply asked to frame their face within the software – there’s no need to speak or turn your head. In just a few seconds, we can confirm liveness and match a selfie image to the one on the ID document.
To prove liveness, the face match software asks the user to move their face into a frame and captures a 2 second video selfie to prove that they are 3 dimensional. The service then uses AI to verify the presence of dozens of human traits, verifying that the user is alive and making ‘spoofs’ virtually impossible.
Once liveness is confirmed, the user can be accurately matched to the photo on their identity document to positively verify their identity.
